When hiring a generator, one of the most common questions we receive at Cheema Hire is: “Does the generator come with fuel?” The answer is yes — but there’s a process in place to ensure fairness and transparency for all customers.

Fuel Is Included — With a Fuel Bond

All our generator hires in Western Sydney, from 3.5kVA to 60kVA, come filled with fuel and ready to go. To manage fuel use responsibly, we apply a $150 fuel bond at the time of hire.

Here’s how it works:

1. You hire the generator pre-fuelled.
   
2. You use the generator for your project or event.
   
3. After return, we refill the tank and calculate the cost of fuel used.
   
4. You receive a refund for the unused portion of the bond.
   

This ensures that you only pay for the fuel you actually use — no guesswork, no flat fees, and no surprises.

Why This System Works Best

Generators vary in fuel consumption depending on load size and runtime. A 3.5kVA unit may use far less fuel than a 60kVA unit powering a full event. The fuel bond system gives you flexibility while protecting you from overpaying.
